We have the best team in the business! Each month you can meet one of our AWESOME employees who make our success possible! Get to know us by getting to know WHO we ARE! We are MRD!
I have been with MRD since November 14, 2012 so it will be my 5th year!
What I like most about MRD, is we are a big company but we operate like a small company! Like a small family, where everyone knows everyone! From the COO to our onsite teams and all other departments, everyone knows each other and that is awesome!
I would have to say my proudest moments have been with each promotion and new position that I have been able to take on with MRD. I am proud to have gone from an Assistant Resident Manager of Van Horne Estates to a Conventional Auditor then to a Zone Manager and now being an OSS working on both Conventional and Government Portfolios!
Being able to help everyone onsite. I enjoy being a support for my supervisors but also to all the people that I have trained and everyone that I interact with on a daily basis. Being able to help them grow and showing them what I have been able to learn from MRD motivates me.
My parents equally! They always taught me to work hard, try my best and most importantly raised me to be honest.
Probably to always try my best! No matter what the circumstances, to give my best and always have a positive attitude.
Actually, believe it or not, I would choose my job! I like that I am able to train new employees and show them the company and MRD policies and procedures. Watching them grow is probably the most gratifying part of this job. To be able to see those that I have trained or have helped out, grow their careers with MRD is amazing!
Dallas, Texas! That is where I live now and that is where I would want to stay! I grew up in a small city and Dallas is so different! Dallas offers so much, you never get bored! Different cultures, different activities to do every day. I like to be out and about and in Dallas there are endless options!
My current nickname is “Training Wheel”. My tennis team (Did you know Alex plays on a competitive Tennis Team in his free time?) gave it to me! I had a tennis injury about a year ago and I have to wear an ankle brace. For a long time, I used to limp whenever I ran because I couldn’t support myself on it. So, they called me the Training Wheel and they still do even though I don’t need the brace anymore.
1. Travel to overseas to Europe
2. Skydiving and
3. Go to all the Tennis Grand Slam events (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open)!
Abby- As your supervisor…when do you plan to go skydiving so I can prepare a contingency plan ?
Alex- I plan to skydive soon before I get too old! I have bungee jumped before and that went ok…same concept just a little higher! (Just a tad!)
Play tennis and enjoy my time with family and friends! I travel a lot, so my friends and I try to have brunch weekly to catch up. I always look forward to that!
